Why did Danny dissociate and let Tony take over his body to begin with? Where did Danny's spirit go during this time? What is the significance of chanting redrum over and over again, aside from the obvious fact that it's murder backwards? Why was Tony doing this? If he was just trying to warn Wendy, why didn't he just spell it the right way? They have proven themselves to be capable of unlocking doors in the case of freeing Jack from the dry storage) Who the HELL opened the door to room 237 in the first place?!! (note: most likely spirits trying to lure Danny. Why are there shots of the rotting woman in room 237 apparently alive and in good spirits walking towards Jack mixed with shots of her apparently dead in the bathtub, slowly rising from it while still appearing completely lifeless? Why are these shots cut with shots of Danny apparently 'shining'? (Note: After asking this question, I feel like Danny is toying with his father somehow.) What actually happened to Danny offscreen in room 237? When Jack is drinking the 'imaginary' alcohol, is he actually getting drunk or is it all in his head? What does Delbert mean when he says he "corrected" his wife and children? It appears he dismissed the idea of killing them when Jack mentions it. Why is the axe-wielding killer mentioned at the beginning named Charles Grady, whereas the server Jack meets in the Gold Room's bathroom is named Delbert Grady?

What does the blood flooding the hallway symbolize? I recently rewatched The Shining, and while I think overall the film is attempting to be as ambiguous as possible in order to add to the scare factor and have audiences leaving the theatre thinking "wtf did I just watch", knowing Kubrick's attention to detail makes me think that he had a reason for every single little shot and somehow everything fits together like a puzzle it's just that nobody has solved all the pieces yet.
